Increased transport volumes despite global uncertainty

We are still operating in an uncertain market, with wars ongoing in both Ukraine and the Middle East, as well as the U.S. President Trump’s unpredictable actions affecting the global economy. Interest rates have dropped somewhat, but trade wars may bring new challenges that everyone should be prepared for. The development of the transport market is equally unpredictable in this situation.

Despite this uncertain market climate, Powder-Trans has recorded higher transport volumes than during the previous year, and the construction industry – which is very important to us – has begun to recover slightly from previously low volumes. We have received new assignments in both Finland and Sweden during the spring, as well as in our international traffic in Central Europe. In addition, we have been able to extend or renew several agreements with our key customers.

This development has allowed us to increase the number of drivers and continue our vehicle investments at the same level as in previous years. Although some of our long-serving employees have retired, they have wished to continue working on a smaller scale, which says a lot about our company culture. Our customers have once again recognized our high quality, and from one of our major clients, our drivers were awarded a diploma for consistently positive development and valuable contributions to improving safety for everyone working in their operations.

Our commitment to quality work for our current and potential future customers continues, and at the international logistics fair in Munich, new contacts were again made for future collaborations that support our growth strategy.
